The JS1200 is similar to the JS1000 model introduced a decade earlier, but has some small refinements, including the new DiMarzio PAF Joe neck pickup specially developed for Joe Satriani. Another eye-catching feature is the Candy Apple finish with matching headstock. For 2010, the bridge was replaced with the original Edge tremolo.
