The muktok was a species of flowering plant native to the planet Betazed. It grew in the form of a bush covered with several small blooms that have an almost fuzzy appearance with pinkish petals. These blooms made a light jingling sound when shaken. Muktok were rumored to be extremely long lived plants. Commander William T. Riker commented that they could live for "thousands of years".
