The Dark Tower film series adaptation of the Dark Tower series. The series is currently projected to be a trilogy of films separated by an accompanying television series. According to a press release on 8 September 2010, Ron Howard will direct the first film in the trilogy, after which the television series will begin (possibly covering the events of The Drawing of the Three and The Waste Lands). The first season of the television series will also be directed by Howard.
