Turlin was a minor planet in the Unknown Regions that is part of the Nymean Ascendancy. During the War of the Areltsi Coalition, it was one of many planets that joined the Areltsi Coalition to protect it against the nearby Nulvarl Empire. Due to its ability to launch attacks on the Rimward flank of the Nulvarl Empire, it was used as a staging ground for Coalition forces launching attacks into the region.
