A moderate outbreak occurred, with slight risks being issued by the SPC on January 12 and 13, and a marginal risk on January 14 as the storm involved produced severe weather and a few tornadoes across the states of Texas and Louisiana. No deaths were reported, but $22 million was done in damages by the event. EF2 tornadoes hit in Beaumont, TX and Bell City, LA on January 12 and 13, where most of the damage from the event occurred.
