Nessie(VRRF149) was born in September 2011 in the Rascals in a mixed litter. Her mother was either the dominant female Sancerre or a subordinate female Coccyx and her father was either Grus or an unkown rover. Her litter-mates included her one brother Randy(VRRM144) and her four sisters Lenore(VRRF145), Thurman Merman(VRRF146), Mary Doll(VRRF147) and Candula(VRRF148). All six pups survived their first four weeks and started foraging with the adults. The Rascals had few adults to look after the pups. Sadly in October 2011 Candula was predated while the group was out foraging. The following month Nessie was sadly predated as well, leaving her remaining litter-mates to survived to adulthood.
