The Federation Genetic Atlas was an encyclopediac document available to members of the United Federation of Planets. This Atlas contained a list of information relating to DNA sequences of various species. This allowed the user to better determine the origin of specific DNA sequences and was capable of using the Atlas to divide into categories such as post contact when the race was warp capable.
