The USS Kuril (NCC-1094) was an Akyazi-class perimeter action ship — of the Akula-subclass — on active duty in Starfleet during at least the late 23rd century. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2) The Kuril was laid down at Terran Rockwell (Spacecraft Division), Pedersen Spaceport, Earth on 15 November 2288.
