When Bruce Wayne was thought to be dead there was a huge fight for Batman's cowl heroes and villians alike wanted it however only Dick and Tim Drake were suspicious of Bruce Wayne's "death" so while Tim investigates Bruce's "Death" he is told to do it as Red Robin because Robin is a student of Batman and Dick considered Tim equal much to his reluctance but accepts. Dick became Batman and started to train Damian Wayne as Robin. When it was found out that Bruce Was alive Dick continued to operate as a Batman so that it could be a global coorperation.
