Greni was a Wing Commander in the Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic during the Thrawn campaign. She was the commanding officer of Gold Squadron. Both Wing Commander Greni and her wingman Bross were shot down during a battle over Hettsk, which was located in the Borderland Regions. The two pilots were captured by invading Imperial forces and subsequently rescued by the Katarn Commandos.
