The 1997 Jiffy Lube Miami 300 was a Busch Series event held at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 9, 1997. Joe Nemechek won his second event of the year in an emotional race. John Nemechek, Joe's brother, had died in a Craftsman Truck Series event earlier in the year, and Joe dedicated his win for the brother. Randy LaJoie (2nd) finished the year with a 266-point championship lead on Todd Bodine (7th).
