The Middleweight Championship was a side competition for robots in the middleweight class, weighing up to 54kg. There were a total of four Middleweight Championships, one in Series 2, one in each series of Extreme, and one in Series 7. Usually, the competition was just a melee between all the entrants, but in Extreme 2, the middleweights were split up into 2 heats, from each of which 2 robots would advance to the final.
