Area Sale (エリアセール Eriasēru?) is an obscure location in Toaru Majutsu no Index. It is an underground shopping center in Academy City. The area apparently has plenty of surveillance cameras and security robotspatrolling it. The place is where smugglers of Asociacion de ciencia take the stolen Remnant of Tree Diagram, and where they are defeated by Shirai Kuroko. Moreover, the place is also where Kuroko is defeated by Musujime Awaki. Both depictions of the scene where is supposed to appear in the anime and manga adaptations of Toaru Majutsu no Index instead have it occur on the outside.
