The block was built in an Art Deco style opposite St Pancras Station. Cecil Rhodes House was built in the late 1940s by St Pancras Borough Council, and later inherited by it's successor; Camden Borough Council. Along with the nearby 'The Chenies ' it constitutes the Godlington Street Estate.
