The Guangqi Toyota Automobile (GAC Toyota) is an automobile manufacturer located in Guangzhou, China. The company was founded on the 1st September 2004 as a joint-venture between the Guangzhou Automobile Group and the Toyota Motor Company and is operating their official brand name Guangzhou-Toyota (: ). The construction of the manufacturing plant was completed in 2007. Toyota employs 5600 workers in their GAC plant.
