Frogbit was a male rat in Badrang the Tyrant's horde. He had previously sailed with Cap'n Tramun Clogg. Clogg commented that Frogbit and his fellow rat soldiers had gotten fatter ever since they quit sailing the high seas. Frogbit and Nipwort were frequently put on guard duty on the walltop of Fort Marshank. Both were convinced by Keyla that the messages passed between the prisoners in the pit and their friends outside were the result of feverish yelling. In fact, Brome and Rose were exchanging coded messages to organize the rescue of Martin the Warrior and his friends.
