Olimar's Ship can dispatch its nose cone, which is known as the Freight Pod. At the beginning of Pikmin: Stranded Exploration, Olimar's ship is attacked by nocturnal predators, and Olimar is forced to get in the Freight Pod and escape while the beasts tear his ship to pieces. The Freight Pod can collect Salvage and store enemies with its clamp along with many upgrades that it can create once certain Salvage has been collected.
