Using this talent, Yamasaki impersonates CONTROL cypher expert Lum Fong and attempts to trick Agent 99 into handing over the Gaul Formula. However, 99, realizing that Yamasaki has failed to recognize the three parts the formula has been divided into, uncovers the ruse and the real Lum Fong is discovered tied up in the back room. 99's fiancé, Maxwell Smart, then defeats Yamasaki in an iron fencing duel.
