For Halloween, my daughter and her best friend wanted to have identical costumes - they wanted to be "girls who don't want to go to sleep." And they wanted their bears to match. AND they wanted matching sleeping caps. I knitted them the sleeping caps using the free pattern on about.com, and then I scaled the pattern down for the bears. (Each bear required a different size.) The nightgown is a pattern I drafted and I put a circle skirt on the gown because my daughter is a dancer and wants her costumes to twirl.
