The Gutsy Bat (ガッツのバット) is considered Ness' ultimate weapon in EarthBound. It raises his Offense by 100 and Guts by 127, making it the third strongest overall of Ness' weapons, behind the Legendary bat and the Casey Bat. It can only be obtained by being dropped by Bionic Kraken in the Cave of the Past, with a 1/128 chance.
