Mike Ward is a stocky ranger who, during the time of Ultima IV, can be found in the Wayfarer's Inn. He has traveled from Skara Brae in search of the rune of Spirituality. The Stranger finds him trying to get a room at the inn and Mike tells him that the rune is the key to the shrine and that it is not in Skara Brae.
