Defenders of the Brotherhood were emissaries of the Brotherhood of Shinsei to the courts, most commonly found among the more peaceful and contemplative sects, such as the Temple of Kaimetsu-Uo. These patience and resilience monks endured the vagaries of the court and avoided giving offense until the time comes to speak.
