Lieutenant Commander Technitos (Greek τεχνητή, meaning Artificial) was a 25th century Einstein-type android, and the 2nd android to ever enter Starfleet. Technitos was technologically and cybernetically advanced android surpassing the 24th century limitations of the successful Soong-type androids. (NOV: Maiden, et. al) He was the only created Einstein-type android due to their methodological complexity. He was the basis of the definition of Einstein-type androids.
