When a sorcerer casts explosive pyre he or she places a storm of flames around a target of his or her choice within fifty feet of themselves. Any creature caught within this small storm, roughly five feet in diameter, during the next moment is scorched by its flames. Explosive pyre taxes the energy of a sorcerer slightly and requires a short rest of a few minutes or more before it can be cast again.
