Loo Sing was a waiter that worked out of Chang's Restaurant in San Francisco's Chinatown. In 1936, Loo Sing approached Indiana Jones — who was awaiting the arrival of Peter Hale — to ask if he was ready to order order when Shih Ho entered flanked by fellow tong members. Loo Sing was dismissed, but stood by and watched as Ho revealed Hale had been taken captive and arranged with Jones to trade Hale for the mummy of a Chinese emperor that Jones was trying to collect for the National Museum.
