In 2371, Henrik Delaney installed their folded space drive prototype aboard the USS Rutherford and accompanied the crew on testing the device. Initial tests were successful until 2372, when the device malfunctioned, and the Rutherford jumped from the Alpha Quadrant to the Gamma Quadrant. Henrik Delaney's whereabouts were unknown as of 2372.
