Vogue 8236; ca. late 1930s; ONE-PIECE EVENING FROCK - UNDERSLIP INCLUDED. Bodice of frock is dart fitted at waist in front and back. Very short sleeves are used with gathered yoke at top of bodice, or a pleated bertha collar with the sleeveless version. Both versions have tiny shoulder straps. Very full circular skirt joins bodice at low, shaped waistline. Underslip with or without boning.
