Iori Yamakage (山影伊織, Yamakage Iori) is the right hand man of, and adoptive son of Seigetsu Uchiha. After the tragic killing of his family, Iori was forced out of a place to stay when he met Seigetsu who welcomed the young boy into his home as though it were his own. Iori despises Ryuichi Sengoku for betraying their father, the man who welcomed them with open arms. He is regarded by the Toad Sage and Seigetsu as the Child of the Prophecy (予言の子, Yogen no Ko), the man who will defeat Ryuichi.
