Darropolis was a city on the planet Hosnian Prime. Dome-style Hosnian homes were built on crystal dunes on the outskirts. A New Republic veteran hospital was located in the city, and was where Dade Hetkins received treatment and a cybernetic leg to replace the one lost in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor. Doctor Arsad supervised Hetkins' recovery, and assigned him the prototype therapy droid QT-9.
