Sir Aurum is the main villain in the game Disgaea: Absence of Justice. He puts on a facade of goodness in order to hide his true intentions. Once a true superhero, he turned evil when his desire to be loved and remembered forever took control of him. He abandoned protecting innocent people and sought to find powerful overlords to defeat, which he thought would keep him in the hero business. Once he killed the latest overlord, Mao's father, he attempted to make Mao into the next powerful overlord. To do this, he disguised himself as a butler and was inevitably hired by Mao. Next, he tried to raise Mao and guide him on the path to "evil". He only wanted to raise Mao to be a very powerful overlord so that he may have a worthy opponent to kill.
