Hanna Wallach is a machine learning researcher and assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts. She has been heavily involved at times in mentoring women in Open Source, in particular she co-founded the GNOME Women project, organised the GNOME Women in Open Source initiative and was a research assistant on the FLOSSPOLS report. Hanna has given many talks on women in open source.
