The Star of Mercy is a Calliope-class freighter of independent registry, operating throughout the Orion Arm. Heavily modified, she sports less cargo capacity than most freighters of her size, but has traded that space for a fully-functional medical bay, built into her port cargo container. Capable of providing clinic-based medical service, or, in emergencies, a full-fledged trauma center, the Mercy is the brainchild of one Gennadiy Andreovitch, and is fully self-funded. Captaincy and Ownership of the Mercy was transfered to Alandra by Gennadiy himself after some time.
