Sithicide was the only acceptable means for an emo Jedi to commit suicide. This usually involved the Padawan or young Knight in question intentionally taking on a Sith Lord or other powerful Dark Sider, ostensibly in order to "save the lives of others" or some other lame excuse. Darsha Assant committed sithicide when she took on Darth Maul in the lower levels of Coruscant. This act could also be performed by ordinary beings, as in the example provided by Trask Ulgo's untimely demise at the hands of Darth Boner aboard the Endar Spire.
