Fighter-bombers are fighters that, in addition to carrying a primary weapon such as compound blasters or FPCs, carry a secondary weapon that enables them to threaten capital ships such as Radar Missiles or IR Missiles. They tend to be slower and less maneuverable but slightly tougher than standard fighters.
