Ensign Molina was an operations division Starfleet officer assigned to security aboard the USS Voyager under Captain Kathryn Janeway. He was one of many crewmembers that survived the transport to the Delta Quadrant in 2371. In 2373, Molina was one of the twelve remaining crewmembers on board Voyager during the ship's gradual takeover by the Nyrians. He was assigned to watch the Nyrian astrophysicist, Dr. Rislan, while he worked with B'Elanna Torres in engineering. Molina was distracted by the warp core, and while distracted was attacked by Rislan.
