The Jelbek nobility (Jelbek: Jezkai) is the highest ranked and generally most privileged social class in the Khanate of Jelbania. It has existed since time immemorial and only began being regulated in the early days of the First Jelbek Khanate in the seventh century AD. The Jelbek word for 'nobility' (Jezkai) literally translates to 'great men'.
