The Realm Portal, also known colloquially as the Portal, was a rift portal on a small island near the central region of Azeroth. Formed in 52 PE by unknown forces, powerful, neutral guardians sent by the Titans maintain a strict level of order within a certain radius to the portal, effectively forcing opposing factions from taking control of the portal.
