The missile deactivation transmitter was a countermeasure developed by the Galactic Alliance Army in the years following the Swarm War. These transmitters were able to detect the guiding frequencies used by enemy missiles and warheads. They were then capable of sending a signal to deactivate the projectiles before damaging an Alliance warship.
