Cerasi was a female Human and leader of the Melidaan organization on Melida/Daan. 15 ABY she was captured by Melida/Daan government to prevent Melidaan demonstration during a visit of New Republic diplomats. Luke Skywalker, who was among the diplomats, met Cerasi and discovered that she was Force-sensitive. She turned down his offer to join the New Jedi Order preferring to stay on Melida/Daan.
