The 1996 NAPA 500 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 10, 1996. The season finale couldn't have been better for the Labontes. Bobby Labonte won his only race of the year, leading the most laps and holding off Dale Jarrett by half-a-second.
