Chester City Football Club was an English football team from Chester which played in a variety of leagues between 1885 and 2010. The club which was founded as Chester F.C., joined the Football League in 1931. Over the next eight decades, the club spent most of its time competing in the lower divisions. Its original ground was Sealand Road (1906-1990). With the official winding up of Chester City, supporters immediately began forming a new club. Chester F.C. was officially established in May 2010.
