The European Wars refer to several conflicts that took place on continental Europe in the mid/late 21st century. Beginning in 2060, with the withdrawal of European armed forces from the Middle East, the European Commonwealth soon found itself dissolved into nothing more, than quarreling nation-states entangled in a mess of alliances, much like the first World War (1914-1918). The European Wars are generally considered part of the larger "Resource Wars" that were fought between the oil-crisis of the 2050s and the great war of 2077.
