Emir Al Khattab was a Saudi Arabian-born terrorist leader. In 1995, he led a force of jihadists to fight against Russian forces in Chechnya. He had close links to Al Qaeda and was responsible for many atrocities in Russia, including vicious torture and ethnic cleansing of Russian Christians. He was killed by Russian forces in 2002.
