Nami pirates were a pirate group operating in the Outer Rim Territories during the later years of the Galactic Empire. Led by Ali Tarrak, a Human female, the pirates raided different Outer Rim planets. In 3 BBY, they were mauled at the Q-13 customs station by the 982nd Imperial Fighter Wing. In 1 ABY, the resumed actions against the Empire, backed by the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
