Neil Armstrong was an American astronaut (1930-2012), who worked for NASA. He is most well known for being one of the first two people to land on the moon during the apollo 11 mission of july 1969 (along with Buzz Aldren). He also performed the first docking in space in the Gemini 8 mission.
