The Kelvan life craft was a type of escape pod used by the Kelvan people on their multi-generational starships. In 2268, the Kelvan leader Rojan, along with four other crewmembers, barely escaped their multi-generational ship in this type of craft when it was destroyed trying to cross the galactic barrier while entering into the Milky Way Galaxy.
