The Old Imperial Council (1376 AO - 1877 AO) is a name given ad hoc to the gathering of representatives from each city-state in the Old States. Each representative was a chancellor from his or her particular region of the Eastern Continent. It was noted for its heated debates and for showcasing some of the most skilled politicians in the world. The Council was dissolved after the acceptance of Chancellor Zamrias' proposal to merge the city-states into a more formidable and solidified empire.
