Tickers are the Locust equivalent of an intelligent mobile land mine. Name for the sound their teeth make as they prepare to self combust, they are a fusion of subterranean creature and incendiary device. Tickers rely on their quickness to scurry away to a safe location when threatened, only to reappeare from another angle and explode next to their victim.
