Croydon Aerodrome is an airport in London, England. In 1937, Indiana Jones arrived at Croydon on a flight from the United States, in search of the thief Amanda Knight. While at the customs checkpoint, two agents from Scotland Yard, Percy and Clyde approached him. They quickly explained that they knew Jones' purpose in England, and that they couldn't have him combing London for the alleged thief. They produced a ticket to the Orkney Islands for Jones, informing him that he should contact them if he would happen upon any old friends or stolen property up north.
