The Heaven's Wing was a difficult kata taught by the Shiba Bushi school. Using simple wide movements of a naginata the kata built the focus of the user. The kata was rarely seen in tournaments, but the steps were beautiful and the energy that was built up from the moves was finally released in a flurry of startling motion. The kata shared it's name with the Brotherhood of Heaven's Wing. While the brotherhood did not exclusively knew this kata, they prided themselves on a greater mastery of it.
